We design, build, install, extend and maintain custom cold rooms to meet your exact cold storage requirements. Any size, any shape, any specification. We've even built mobile cold rooms on trailers.
Design
Every project starts with your requirements. We'll either build and install to your existing specification, or design the cold room with you after a site visit and discussion. With three decades of projects behind us, from sub-8m² walk-ins to stores exceeding 8,000m², we know the questions to ask before the first panel is cut.
Manufacture
Once the specification is agreed, components are manufactured in our own Southampton workshop or sourced from reputable suppliers. Either way, the quality standard is ours, and we stand behind it.
Installation
Our skilled, directly-employed installation team delivers and builds on your site, within an existing building or as an extension to one. We work around live kitchens, retail floors and production lines every week, and plan installs to minimise disruption.
Technical specification
We generally build from fire-rated PIR wall and ceiling panels, a particularly effective solution where internal temperatures sit between 0°C and −40°C and where fire resistance, thermal performance and hygiene are essential.
- Steel facings with Foodsafe laminate/polyester, PVF2 and HPS200 coatings
- High-performance male/female interlocking joints for a secure, consistent detail
- Silicone-sealed joints encapsulating the core, forming a continuous anti-bacterial barrier
- Modifications, extensions, maintenance and repair of existing rooms
